Daisy, Ramsgrove Russian Ruby At Potterdale is now a registered therapy dog. She visits the school most days and accompanies our niece Willow, who is Autistic and partiell deaf, around the school visiting the pupils. Just before Christmas Daisy presented us with a lovely baby girl, we call her little Pudding. The dad is Russell, Ch Potterdale Platinum Plus.

| Our next sucess was The Northern Bearded Collie Club Show 27th August 2023 which was judged today by breed judge Mr David Hyde. We think this must be Mabel's CH Potterdale Precious Rose lucky Show as she won her first CC at this show under judge Anne Wilding two years ago. We were thrilled this year when she won her 20th CC and once again won BIS! | |

| What a weekend 15th-16th July 2023 in Malvern | |
3 shows in one week. First show was National Working & Pastoral Breeds Dog Society, our breed judge was Jeff Luscott. We were were pleased to win the BCC and BOB with Mabel, CH Potterdale Precious Rose. |

| The next show was The Midshires Open Show judged by Claire Bowden. She found her Best Dog in Show with Potterdale Heritage owned by Mr and Mrs Salmon. Congratulation, well done! | |

| We spent a night in a lovely hotel in Great Malvern. The next day was again at the Three Counties Show Ground where the Midshires Championship Show was taking place. Dog judge was Sue Carter, Woodacre and Bitch judge was Wendy Knowles, Tonwynde and BIS judge was Janet Steel, Spinningdale, all breed judges. | |
| Mike showed Sidney, Potterdale Platnum Jubilee in three classes and he won them all. Litter brothers Freddie, Potterdale Heritage and George, Potterdale Gorgeous George both won first in their classes. George was award the RCC. | |

| East of England was held at a very nice new show ground and Mike came and made a rare apperance showing our young boy Sidney, Potterdale Platnum Jubilee who got a well deserved second only beaten by the DCC winner. Potterdale Heritage, Freddie won first in Limit Dog and CH Potterdale Andante, Brodie got a first in Open Dog and the RDCC. | |

| Windsor is always a lovely show. This year was no exception. Last year Mabel, CH Potterdale Precious Rose, won her title here, this year the result was exactly the same result, with the same dog winning the dog CC and Mabel winning her 15th CC. | |

| We were judged at Blackpool on the 25th June 2023 by breed judge Gill Burfitt. The weather forecast was unpredictable but the rain managed to hold off until after judging. Thrilled with Mabel, CH Potterdale Precious Rose winning another CC with BOB. | |
|
|
|
|
Just to prove that Potterdale breed brains as well as beauty. The working tests began in 1969 and Misty, CH Potterdale Platinum Star is only the 9th Breed Champion to gain her Senior Test. Roxy, CH Potterdale Star Potential was the 8th in 2014. In 2014 Roxy achieved the following - What a fantastic year Roxy has had participating in various activities. She won a 1st at Crufts then the RCC and RBIS at EBCA then the bitch ticket at Paignton. She has passed both the Intermediate and Senior Working tests this year. Won both the advanced classes at the BCC fun obedience show, was second in Novice Obedience at SCBCC and won Novice Obedience at EBCA. She qualified RL1.Ex at Rugby Rally show, and took time out to take the Silver KC Good Citizens and then the Gold Good Citizens at the special tests organised by the KC at Birmingham Championship show. Roxy has been to 6 agility shows and has come back with a 1st and 2nd places and 3 other clear rounds. Sadly Misty has not been able to compete in the same activities as Roxy due to the Covid restrictions over the last three years but before Covid achieved her Gold Good Citizen and is currently training for Agility and Tracking. There have now been 3 Potterdale Champions with the Senior Test the other one was Denise Barley's Ch Potterdale Elegance at Runival who passed the test in 1991. |

At a very cold and windy day CH Potterdale Piper won first in Open Dog but sadly did nothing in the challenge. Everything brightened up when Mabel, CH Potterdale Precious Rose won first in Open Bitch, the bitch CC followed by BOB. We were pleased to be shortlisted in a very strong Group. |
