Russell was thrilled to get RCC and Reserve best dog at the show under breed judge Althea Richardson. This ended a very successful year.

 
 
9th November 2014 EBCA Open Show
Congratulations to Glenda O'Connell with 'Alice' Potterdale Fairy Dust Of Atherleigh on winning Best Puppy in Show and also to Chris Hardy with 'Harry' Potterdale Harrier At Otterswish Best Puppy dog at the same show. Judge Deirdre Robinson.
 
 
1st November 2014 Working & Pastoral Breeds Association of Scotland
'Russell' Potterdale Platinum Plus joined the big boys and won first Open dog and followe this by winning his 5th CC. Judge Alan Archer.
 
 
24th October 2014 Midland Counties Canine Society
Potterdale Parula 'Rosie' won first in Minor Puppy Bitch. Judge Liz Jay.
 
 
12th October 2014 South Wales Kennel Association
Potterdale Harrier At Otterswish won Best Puppy in Breed and Pastoral Group number 1! Well done to Chris and handome Harry. Chris Burscough judge the breed and Vic Salt judged the group.
 
 
October Canada & Sweden
We are very proud of the success of our dogs abroad and would like to say well done to their owners. Casey Minner with Potterdale Jubilee Diamond 'Scarlett' who became a an American Champion at the BCCA National in October. Charlott sandberg and Potterdale Gold Dust 'Brian' continues to fly the Potterdale flag in Sweden and has won Best of Breed, Group-1 and BIS-4 in Sundsvall!
 
 
 
4th October 2014 Bearded Collie Club of Scotland Champ Show
We made the trip to Scotland Show and had a very successful and enjoyable day. Russel won his 4th CC and then Best In Show.Judge Geoff Spurrier.

5th September Richmond
At Richmond Ch Show under Margaret Harkin, Russell won his third consecutive CC, again with best of breed. This win made him a champion at just 21 months. Russell is all we hoped he would be when we mated Molly to Indy. He has now become a dad so we are doubly proud.
 
 

4th August Paignton

Paignton was a brilliant day for Potterdale! We won both CCs under judge Ann Andrews. 'Russel' Potterdale Platinum Plus won the DCC and Maureen Sale won the BCC with the beautiful 'Roxy' CH Potterdale Star Potential. Ann gave BOB to Russell who went on to win Group-2.

Critique: What a stunner this young dog is. Caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring and didn’t disappoint on going over him. Handsome dark slate with a beautiful expression, good masculine head, excellent pigment and nicely arched neck leading into well angulated shoulders. Great length and depth of rib and correct rear angulation. Moved effortlessly round the ring with reach and drive. His second CC today and I’m sure it won’t be long before he gets his crown. Delighted to see him perform perfectly in the group and be awarded Group 2. A lovely dog who should have an exciting future.

 
 

12th July National Working & Pastoral Breeds

We had a fantatic day under breed judge Don Moir awarded 'Russel' Potterdale Platinum Plus his first CC. We followed this by winning the RBCC with our lovely 'Eden' Potterdale Seagulls Ringside Rumour at her first show after her litter four months ago. 'Alfie' Potterdale Paladium JW won Limit dog and looked gorgeous! Just unlucky to be beaten by his younger half brother.
 
Beautiful dark slate with lazy action movement which in actual fact means he is covering the ground at high speed without any effort. Excellent strong head and pigment, eyes to match. Super neck flowing into such well set shoulders which are complemented by a back end which gives plenty drive. Excellent coat without being overdone. Such a calm boy with wonderful temperament. In the challenge, he just kept moving without distraction or concern for anything so I surprised myself by awarding him his first CC at only 19 months old. Will go all the way, and soon. On being told that I had awarded his mother and grand mother the CC previously, it all made sense.

14th June Border Union

At the show brother and sister, Russell and Dolly both won their classes. Russell - Potterdale Platinum Plus went on to win the RCC. Judge Pam Douglas, Australia.
 

1st June Southern Counties Champ Show

At his very first Championship Show Potterdale Magic Dust 'Dusty' won Minor Puppy and Puppy, was Best Puppy and won the RCC. Well done to Carole Lewry.

21st April Eastern Bearded Collie Association Champion Show
Potterdale had a good day. Roxy Ch Potterdale Star Potenial won Reserv CC and Reserv Best In Show under judge Lesley Tomlinson. Russell won Reserv CC under Viv Stevens.

Russel had a very successful day at The Bearded Collie Club Open Show where he won Best in Show and gained the final points for his JW. So proud of our boy.

Philippe Martin from France judged and I was pleased that both Russell and his sister Dolly won their junior classes and Russell went on to win the Reserv CC.

Monday 3rd of March, 'Eden' Potterdale Seagulls Ringside Rumour produced a beautiful litter to our own 'Charlie' CH Potterdale Prodigy, consisting of 10 puppies, 8 blues and 2 slates.
